Security and Loot
Choose the opening method
Set the door or vault's opening method in the Creator. Check the equipment source at the same time.
Open Operation flow → Security & blockades, select the door or vault, then open its method settings. The item names below are the supplied choices; check your selected method if you have customized them.
| Method | What players need |
|---|---|
| Hacking | Completed preparation and a physical hacking_device carried by the hacker |
| Drilling | A vault_drill, obtained through your pickup or recipe |
| Explosives | An explosive_charge and the configured preparation |
| Keycard | A card from the linked programming preparation |
| Manual | Any conditions you have chosen for that opening |
Set the interaction position and test it in your installed interior. A door that looks correctly placed can still open the wrong way or leave too little room for the player.
Check: start a fresh player plan and try the opening method after completing its preparation. Keep required equipment in the plan's storage until the finale starts; withdraw any tool the interaction requires the player to carry. Hacking always checks the hacker's personal device.
For hacking, choose the difficulty in the Creator. The global easy, normal, and hard presets are under Config.HeistPlanning.vaultHack.difficulties if you need to adjust them.
Configure the alarm
Place the alarm and choose audible or silent behavior. Review its duration and any alarm buttons or bank employee included in the scene.
Set the jobs that should receive the alarm in Config.HeistPlanning.alarmDispatch.jobs. Test with an on-duty player from one of those jobs and confirm they receive it.
NPC police support is optional and disabled by default in Config.NpcPoliceSupport. It does not count toward a requirement for human police officers.
If you enable explosive fire effects through Config.ExplosionFire, also test the robbery with Sky Fire Job running so the fire does not make your intended route unusable.
Add gas or lasers
Place lasers along the route you want them to protect. For gas, set the affected area, delay, duration, and damage. Gas uses the heist's alarm flow.
Give the crew a gas-mask preparation before enabling gas defense. Players must deposit the masks in the plan's storage and equip them through Crew. A clothing-shop mask does not replace this step.
Test both entering without protection and entering with the heist mask equipped. Make sure players have time and space to leave the affected area.
Set up loot
| Loot | Check before enabling it |
|---|---|
| Cash or gold cart | Value, placement, room to collect it, and bag clothing |
| Artwork | Placement and room for the removal interaction |
| Deposit box | Cabinet setup, required drill, duration, and cash value |
Cart collection requires bag clothing by default. The rule is in Config.HeistPlanning.lootCartRequiredClothing; carrying a bag item alone does not satisfy it. Test the bags used by your clothing system.
Deposit boxes require vault_drill by default. Review Config.HeistPlanning.depositBoxRequiredItem if your server uses another tool.
Adding jewelry cases in the Creator is currently disabled during beta. Use the other loot types for a new setup.
Decide how players get paid
With direct payment, the player collecting the loot receives cash immediately. The system does not automatically divide it equally among the crew.
With a buyer, the loot value is held until a crew member sells it. Place the buyer somewhere reachable, set the payout multiplier, and choose whether the sale has a time limit. All configured loot objectives must be completed or skipped before the buyer becomes available. A sale time limit starts when the buyer becomes available.
The crew member who completes the sale receives the cash payment. For example, 20,000 in collected loot with a multiplier of 1.0 pays that seller 20,000. It is not automatically paid to the organization account or split among the crew.
Check: collect the loot, reach the buyer before any sale deadline, and confirm the seller receives the expected amount in your actual money system.
During an active heist, available carts, artwork, deposit boxes, and supported jewelry cases can also be collected by other players, including police. Account for that when designing the scene and your server rules.
