Server: SetVehiclePlateStyleAuditEnabled(enabled)

Server Exports

All Advanced Pricing and Billing exports return a result table:

Rejected requests return success = false and a stable error code. Player identity, mechanic job, grade, permissions, vehicle distance, configured limits, quote state, invoice ownership, and monetary values are always resolved or validated on the server.

SetVehiclePlateStyleAuditEnabled(enabled)

Optional server-only opt-in for an external registration authority. Pass a boolean. Success returns { success = true }; invalid callers or non-boolean input return { success = false, error = "invalid_request" }.

The opt-in belongs to the actual calling server resource. false releases only that resource's request; another active consumer can keep the audit enabled. Stopping a consumer removes its request. Register again after restarting Mechanic or the integration.

With no active consumer, the existing mechanic workflow and property-save payloads remain unchanged. When enabled, confirmed plate-style saves can emit the trusted local sky_mechanicjob:vehiclePlateStyleSaved notification with the actual mechanic identity. The authority records those changes through exports["sky_jobs_base"]:RecordVehiclePlateStyleChange(plate, change). There is no new Config or Advanced Config flag, automatic fine, or automatic restoration of a mechanic's saved plate choice.

GetVehicleRegistryFeatures().plateStyleAuditAvailable on Jobs Base advertises support for this API. It does not mean the audit is enabled or an authority is registered. Start and initialize the matching Jobs Base and Mechanic resources before activating the integration.
