Faction PvP
What players can do
The Faction PvP tablet app lets organizations arrange events with a chosen arena, weapons, rewards, and match rules. You can run individual events or recurring events.
| Mode | Goal |
|---|---|
| Last Man Standing | Survive with the configured number of lives. |
| Team Deathmatch | Score kills for the faction. |
| Free For All | Compete individually, including against members of your own faction. |
Set up the first event
Enable access
Open /jobconfig → Crime System → Faction PvP and enable the feature. Prepare two different Crime organizations with one online leader each. Both must be able to open the Faction PvP tablet app. Leaders need member-management permission; paid entry and prize funding also need finance permission. See Permissions.
Check the arena
In the arena settings, check the supplied LSIA Hangar or add your own. Visit its boundary, observer position, and team spawn points on your actual map. Each faction needs a spawn point; keep them accessible and far enough apart. Save your configurator changes.
Create a small event
In the tablet app, create an event with the chosen arena and mode. For the first test, set both the minimum and maximum factions to 2, and both the minimum and maximum players per faction to 1. Use simple weapons, no entry fee, and no rewards.
Set registration to close a few minutes in the future, with the start time at or after that deadline. Both times must be in the future when saving. Enable Start automatically for this test.
Register the players
Before registration closes, have each leader open the event and choose Register faction. That leader becomes the first team member. Check that both factions and both players appear in the roster.
For a later test with larger teams, raise the maximum players per faction. Additional members must open the event and choose Join team; registering a faction does not sign up everyone automatically.
Run the match
Keep both registered players online until the scheduled start. Check the countdown, scores, deaths, return from the arena, and results. If the event cannot start, first compare its required faction and player counts with the online roster. Add fees and rewards after this basic match works.
Choose team sizes carefully
Normal events need at least two factions. The minimum players per faction determines whether a team is ready to start; the maximum controls how many can join it. The minimum cannot exceed the maximum.
For example, minimum 1 and maximum 2 permits a team with two players to compete against a team with one. Offline players and members who have left the organization do not count as ready.
Joining, leaving, and fees
Only the initial faction registration needs leader permission. Other members can join its free slots without leadership or finance rights. The entry fee is charged from organization funds once per faction.
During registration, Withdraw my participation removes one player's slot. It does not unregister the faction or refund its fee. Withdraw faction removes the whole team and refunds its paid entry fee; it requires the appropriate leader or event-management access. Explain the difference to your leaders.
The event's cash prize is funded from the organizer's organization account. It is separate from the entry fee. The winning organization receives the prize plus the entry-fee pool. Check those organization balances when testing a paid event.
During a match, players can leave with /leavepvp. Test this with your medical and inventory resources so they return correctly and temporary event equipment is handled properly.
Quick test
- A leader registers the faction; another member joins its roster.
- Any entry fee is charged only once.
- The chosen player counts produce the expected starting teams.
- Scores, lives, and respawns match the selected mode.
- Players return correctly after leaving or finishing.
- Rewards and refunds reach the intended accounts.
Test a match with opposing players before enabling a recurring schedule.
