Skills and collection

Understand separate skill-point pools, shared general bonuses, personal discovery chances and the persistent find album.

The Skill tree view shows all five trees on one map. Each tree keeps its own XP and point budget. Detector points cannot buy magnet skills, and general points cannot be spent on diving.

Skill trees

TreeSkillsTotal point costWhat improves
General99Sale prices, equipment prices and method XP
Metal detector2149Detector/shovel tiers, signals, recovery and find tiers
Magnet fishing1221Casting, pulling, discovery and magnet find tiers
Diving1624Air, visibility, recovery, identification and bonus finds
Searching bins912Search time, success, bonus finds and collectible weighting

These are the default configured trees. Skills may cost more than one point and require earlier skills or a method level. The selected skill's details show the requirements and effect; a purchase is only applied after server confirmation.

Equipment unlocks allow the matching item to be bought and used. A find-tier unlock changes reward eligibility. They are different requirements, and some methods need both a suitable tool and the learned skill.

General progress

Completed activities award general XP: detector finds give 60, magnet finds 45, diving finds 180 and bin searches 25. Extra pieces from a single reward do not multiply that award. Cancelled activities and repeated delivery attempts give no additional general XP.

The three general paths each have three ranks:

PathRank 1Rank 2Rank 3
Selling+10%+15%+20%
Equipment discount10%20%25%
Method XP+20%+30%+50%

Each column is that rank's total effect, not an additional bonus stacked on earlier ranks. Method XP bonuses do not increase general XP.

Find album

Open Find album at the dealer at any time; a skill is not needed to open it. It contains 60 default collectible items across metals, valuables, antiques and mystical finds. Undiscovered items use silhouettes; discovered items show their artwork. Page controls move through the collection.

The record is shared across methods but saved separately for each character. It tracks successful natural discoveries, not the number of inventory copies. Buying or receiving an item from another player does not count as discovering it, and selling a discovered item does not erase the entry.

Displayed chances reflect the player's equipment, skills and first-discovery protection. They describe the listed method and environment outside hotzones; sand values assume a shoreline. A 0% chance can mean a locked find or a reward temporarily replaced by a guaranteed first discovery. Do not read every listed item as a reward available on the next attempt.

The Rarities detector skill opens find tier 3. It does not unlock the book itself. The Find archive skill is part of the detector progression and has its own prerequisites.

Existing characters

Progression changes in this release include one-time migrations. Some old method skill allocations are reset while their earned progression remains available to spend again. See Database and updates before replacing an older installation.
