Tablet and Reports
Before opening the tablet
Assign the character a configured firefighter job and the intended grade, go on duty, and open the job tablet through your configured job interaction. The server owner controls available apps and grade permissions in /jobconfig. An administrator who has not joined the job may have setup access without employee access.
Write an incident report
- Open Incident Reports and choose New Report.
- Select the incident type/status, check the location, and enter the incident narrative. Auto-fill can supply available scene/personnel information; review it before saving.
- Add the firefighters, civilians, hazards, actions and equipment relevant to the incident.
- Use Add Evidence to attach scene photos from the tablet gallery, then choose Save.
- Reopen the saved report and confirm the information and evidence are present.
Sharing is limited to configured partner jobs and authorized users. Select the intended job through the report's sharing controls and verify access with that department. If someone else edited the report, the conflict message keeps your draft; review the current version before replacing or re-entering your changes.
Photos, files and billing
Gallery uploads require the shared Media Provider to be configured by the server owner. A working Hub thumbnail does not configure your department's gallery. Keep upload credentials in the server-only provider configuration.
The shared File Explorer handles department files. DOJ documents require a running DOJ resource and an actual share to the department. Billing access follows the configured job permissions and billing provider; the presence of an app icon does not grant permission to create or change invoices.
If an app is missing or access is denied
Check the selected firefighter job, current duty state, enabled app and grade permissions first. Grant the intended leadership grade with /setboss <job> <topGrade> during initial setup, then verify ordinary employee access separately. Keep the exact error if a permitted action still fails; see Troubleshooting.
