Anticheat & resource protection
Allow sky_activities in your anticheat's Resource Protection or equivalent trusted-resource settings. Its games intentionally create and move entities, equip temporary sport weapons, protect participants and vehicles, and control cameras. Blocking these actions can remove equipment, interrupt animations or eject players from a game.
Anticheat products use different setting names and scopes. Activities does not provide a universal anticheat export or automatically configure your protection. Apply the relevant permissions using your provider's documented resource-based rules, then test the actual actions below.
Required categories
| Protection category | Legitimate Activities behavior |
|---|---|
| Objects / props | Local balls, pins, paddles, cues, flags, vests, powerups, cover and sport devices; attachments, movement, freezing and collision changes |
| NPC / ped spawning | Local player clones for administrator solo tests and podium celebrations |
| Vehicle spawning | Server-created race karts and local preview/test karts |
| Weapon / ammo checks | Temporary paintball and lasertag weapons, ammunition and the sport sniper scope |
| Teleport / movement checks | Match entry and exit, configured combat returns, kart resets and positioning for a shot or throw |
| Invincibility / damage protection | Protected match participants, race karts and temporary presentation entities |
| Speed / handling / fuel | Lasertag speed powerups, kart boost/slow effects, race handling and kart fuel management |
| Visibility / alpha | Lasertag cloak effects and temporary presentation visibility |
| Scripted camera / freecam checks | Sport aiming, spectators, kart selection and results cameras |
The editor also calls the world-placement helper in sky_jobs_base. If your protection attributes placement actions to that helper resource, allow its placement behavior too.
Sport weapons
If your anticheat requires explicit weapon entries in addition to resource permissions, use the exact identifiers:
WEAPON_SKY_PB_RIFLE
WEAPON_SKY_PB_SMG
WEAPON_SKY_PB_PISTOL
WEAPON_SKY_PB_SHOTGUN
WEAPON_SKY_PB_SNIPER
WEAPON_SKY_PB_LMG
WEAPON_SKYPAINTBALL
WEAPON_SKY_LASERTAG
The sport sniper uses COMPONENT_SKY_PB_SCOPE. These weapons are supplied with sky_activities; the old separate weapon resource is not needed.
Props and vehicles
Use resource-scoped permissions where your anticheat supports them. If it also uses model allowlists, the following are common runtime models to check. This is a practical reference, not a complete list of every streamed building or decorative asset.
| Feature | Model names |
|---|---|
| Race karts | veto2, veto, and any additional model you approve in Karting.vehicleModels |
| Bowling | sky_bowl_ball, sky_bowl_pin, sky_bowl_sweep, sky_bowl_table |
| Minigolf | sky_golf_ball_1 through sky_golf_ball_6, prop_golf_putter_01, sky_mg_decor_rotor |
| Paintballs and grenades | sky_act_paintball, sky_act_paintball_a, sky_act_paintball_b, sky_act_grenade |
| Team flags | sky_act_flag_a, sky_act_flag_b |
| Lasertag pickups | sky_act_power_rapid, sky_act_power_double, sky_act_power_shield, sky_act_power_speed, sky_act_power_cloak, sky_act_power_triple, sky_act_power_scan |
| Team equipment | sky_act_vest_a, sky_act_vest_b, sky_act_vest_f_a, sky_act_vest_f_b, sky_act_vest_pb_a, sky_act_vest_pb_b, sky_act_vest_f_pb_a, sky_act_vest_f_pb_b, sky_act_vest_flash, sky_act_vest_f_flash |
| Kart Battle effects | p_oil_slick_01, w_lr_rpg_rocket |
| Custom sport tables | sky_act_sport_pingpong, sky_act_sport_airhockey, sky_act_sport_foosball |
| Sport pieces | sky_act_sport_net, sky_act_sport_puck, sky_act_sport_foosball_ball, sky_act_sport_mallet, plus the foosball rod models used by the table |
| GTA sport equipment | prop_ping_pong, prop_table_ten_bat, prop_dart_1, prop_pool_cue, prop_poolball_cue, prop_poolball_1 through prop_poolball_15 |
| Supported existing devices | prop_pooltable_02, prop_pooltable_3b, prop_dart_bd_01, prop_dart_bd_cab_01, prop_pool_rack_01, prop_pool_rack_02 |
Weapon presentation also uses w_ar_sky_pb_rifle, w_sb_sky_pb_smg, w_pi_sky_pb_pistol, w_sg_sky_pb_shotgun, w_sr_sky_pb_sniper, w_mg_sky_pb_lmg, w_pi_skypaintball and w_ar_sky_lasertag.
For editor cover, include the models enabled in ArenaProps. The shipped entries are prop_barrier_work05, prop_mp_barrier_02b, prop_roadcone02a, prop_box_wood02a_pu and prop_tyre_wall_01. Custom maps and additional approved props need their own matching permissions. Expand numbered model ranges into exact entries when required; range text is not an anticheat configuration syntax.
NPC models
The test and podium peds are clones of player characters. There is no single Activities NPC model to whitelist. If you use a model-based ped restriction, account for the actual player models on your server, including custom characters. Allowing only the two freemode models will not cover custom player peds.
Keep damage and event validation active
Paintball and lasertag use their own validated sport-hit logic. Activities blocks native weapon damage and explosion events from match participants; a visual kart missile is not permission for ordinary RPG damage. Do not disable global damage, explosion or event validation to make these games work. Resolve the particular resource/action denial shown by your anticheat.
Verify your exceptions
Test with the protection enabled: enter and leave a combat match, equip every allowed sport weapon, throw a paint grenade, use a powerup, reset and boost a kart, throw a bowling ball, take a minigolf shot, and play a table sport. As an administrator, also try world placement and a solo test with peds.
Check the anticheat log for the exact resource, model and blocked action. Confirm normal controls and protection return after leaving. A successful administrator bypass test does not prove the normal-player configuration is correct.
