Troubleshooting
Common problems
Check OneSync, oxmysql, sky_base, sky_jobs_base and their start order. Keep the resource folder named sky_activities and deploy the complete package, including source/html. Read the first server error and the client F8 log. Follow Installation.
Check Config.UseActivitiesConfig. In the default editor mode, global operator settings come from /activitiesconfig and the database; the corresponding Lua operator values are ignored. Startup options and bowling geometry still come from their files. Existing activity rules must be edited on the saved activity. See Configuration.
Check the configured administrator groups or the sky.activities.admin ACE permission and your player's group membership. Restart after changing startup permission configuration. The activity editor remains available in Lua settings mode, but its global settings are read-only.
Check the anticheat log for the resource, action and model. Allow sky_activities in Resource Protection and its required entity, weapon, movement and camera categories. Test with normal-player protection enabled. Preview/podium NPCs use actual player models. Follow Anticheat & resource protection.
Verify the map resource, exported collision and world coordinates before testing Activities. Leave the IPL field empty for permanently loaded maps; otherwise enter the actual IPL identifier. Check bounds, entry and exit positions. An editor validation success does not validate the physical MLO. See Custom maps & IPLs.
Check the master Bowling switch and that hall's location switch in the effective settings source. Every resources entry in config/bowling.lua must exactly match a started resource. After changing resource names or geometry, restart Activities. Do not run another bowling gameplay script on the same lanes. See Bowling MLOs.
Disabling sky_delperro stops its gameplay but does not remove streamed geometry. Follow the exact Sky Del Perro file exclusions, retain the shared bowling assets, then reload and reconnect. Also check other resources replacing the same GTA world files.
Check the installed map version against its preset. Lane floor origins, pin feet, ball centers, approach positions and screen rotations are different measurements. Correct config/bowling.lua using the venue geometry contract. Check duplicate map decoration and machine compatibility; K4MB1 has machine animation disabled in its preset.
Check placement order, direction, bounds and collision. Ensure each allowed driver has a grid slot, and combat teams have enough spawns and their return zones. Run the editor validation and a private test, then verify with another client. See Activity editor.
Confirm the sport and Sports.automatic are enabled and the object uses a supported model. Decorative replacements with different model names are not automatically compatible. Check whether a saved override disabled that station.
Replace the named entry in the YTD from catalogue.csv, not just its PNG template. Keep the exact texture name, upload the dictionary and reconnect after restarting. Check shared uses and additional YTDs listed in the catalogue. See Editable signs.
Information to include in a support report
Include the resource version, effective configuration mode, affected activity/venue ID, map resource names and versions, and steps to reproduce. Add the relevant server/F8 error and anticheat denial if present. For geometry problems, show the exact lane or placement and its configuration. Remove webhook URLs, database credentials and other secrets before sharing logs or files.
